Left window shoe with rubber for the side window of the VW Beetle 08/1964–03/1968, with OEM numbers 111 837 561 and 111 837 565C. The window shoe forms the guide in which the pivoting window hinges and contains the rubber profile that seals against the frame. Replacement is needed when the rubber hardens or there is play at the pivot point.
