Fuel sender for the fuel tank of the VW Beetle 1600i with ACD engine, OEM number BAA 919 051A. The sender works via a variable resistor and passes the level to the fuel gauge on the dashboard. Replacement is needed if the reading is unreliable or the gauge sticks at full or empty.
