Rubber buffer between the rear axle and the body at the top, for the VW Type 3 and Karmann Ghia Type 34, with OEM number 311 899 157. The buffer dampens vibrations and shocks from the rear axle towards the chassis and hardens over time. Replacement takes place when dismantling the rear axle or when bottoming out is noticeable.
