Rubber bulb holder with one connection for the tail light of the VW T2 Bus 08/1967–07/1971, Type 3 up to 07/1969 and Karmann Ghia Type 34, with OEM number 311 945 281. The rubber sits between the bulb holder and the tail light housing and provides a seal against moisture. Replacement is necessary when the rubber has hardened or cracked.
