Inspection cover for the gear shift mechanism at the rear of the central tunnel, OEM number 111 701 555B. Fits the VW Beetle and Karmann Ghia from 08/1965 and the Type 181. The cover is removed to gain access to the coupling between the shift rod and the gearbox.
