Left convertible reinforcement for the A-pillar of the VW Beetle convertible from 08/1968, OEM number 151 801 129. The part is welded inside the A-pillar and compensates for the absence of a fixed roof by giving the body extra torsional rigidity. Replacement is common during restoration when corrosion is found in the A-pillar.
