Fits the VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 and Type 181. This locking plate (111 415 385) is located under the pitman arm and ensures your steering shaft does not shake loose. For maintenance or when overhauling your steering box, this plate must be removed, so it's handy to have a new one on hand. Fits all classic VWs with this steering shaft construction. Combine this with a new pitman arm and locking ring for a complete steering shaft refresh.
