Steering column bearing for the VW Beetle 08/1961–07/1967, OEM numbers 113 415 585A, 587A and 589A. The bearing guides the steering column in the column tube and prevents play between the column and the chassis. Wear shows up as a rattling or stiff steering feel and is remedied by replacing the bearing.
