Inner wheel bearing for the IRS (independent rear suspension) rear suspension of the VW T2 Bus, OEM number 211 501 287. The bearing sits on the inside of the rear hub and carries the vehicle weight via the drive shaft. Replacement is common in case of play in the rear wheel or a humming noise that increases with speed.
