Intake manifold for the 30 hp Type 1 engine in the VW T1 Bus, Beetle and Karmann Ghia, with OEM number 111 129 701E. The manifold connects the carburettor to both cylinder heads and distributes the fuel-air mixture to the four cylinders. Replacement is necessary in case of cracking, leaks at the flanges or corrosion of the preheating tube.
