This hexagon tap bolt is found, among other places, in the engine block and gearbox of your air-cooled VW. It is a DIN 961 version with metric fine thread M10x1.25, so double-check if this is the correct size for your job. Always replace them all at once, as they serve as stressed connections where you don't want to do a half-hearted job.
