This M10 x 1 castle nut is a reliable locking nut that you use where it really needs to be secure, such as with steering and suspension. The slot in the nut allows you to secure it with a split pin, so it cannot loosen due to vibrations. Combine this nut with a suitable split pin and hex bolts for a complete assembly.
