Brake overhaul set rear axle drum | VW Beetle, KG 08/67- | 113 611 053B + 131 609 237C + 113 698 537C
Set for overhauling the rear axle drum brakes of the VW Beetle and Karmann Ghia from 08/1967, with two wheel cylinders (OEM 113 611 053B), a set of 230 x 40 mm brake shoes for both wheels (OEM 131 609 237C) and the fitting kit for the rear brake shoes (OEM 113 698 537C). The wheel cylinders push the brake shoes against the drum, the fitting kit contains the springs and pins that hold the shoes in place. Replacement is needed with leaking or seized wheel cylinders, worn or contaminated brake linings and tired or rusty springs.
