Left reinforcement beam for the VW Beetle Convertible 1200/1500 up to 07/1970, with OEM number 151 801 131B. The beam runs under the sill and absorbs the torsional forces that arise because the roof has no load-bearing function. Replacement is common in case of rust-through at the bottom of the body at the level of the door sill.
