Left reinforcement beam for the VW Beetle Convertible 1302/03, OEM number 151 801 131D. The beam runs along the floor pan and compensates for the absence of a roof by giving the body extra torsional rigidity. Replacement is required in case of rust-through, which is relatively common on convertibles due to water ingress.
